Well owning a Corvette is just like having a hole to throw money at. Like the other things a person might buy. A boat or a plane. The boat is long gone, but the memories will never leave, the plane is also giving someone else pleasure, the time flying exploring are some of the nicest memories. Then came the Corvette, my neighbor owned it first, sold it to me as he had bought a newer C4 Corvette. It had been his daily driver, then became mine. She was a high milage car then and is a higher milage car now. It was the color that first attracted me, Charcoal Metallic. Been across country 4 times, and now is in Canada. Just like the plane a nice ride changes your being, ridding you of the daily stresses. The engine is now a 383 and has more go than the tired 350. So you can imagine the thrill, pressing the throttle to the mat. The brakes are much better now, so along with going fast, I can quickly go slow.
