My 68 Corvette

I was 10 years old and there was a new green 1968 Corvette in my parents drive way. Neat !! I did not know what it was. took a pic (still have pic) I told the neighbor lady I want it when she sold it! I road behind the seats when she and my Mom went shopping. I would ask her to make that sound, (secondary kick in??). have to wait till a straight road, and she did, (WOW). In 1976 I got the call, do you still want the Vette?? Dumb question.. For $2,000 I drove it home from Utica, NY to Bloomsburg, PA. Pretty rough shape ,T tops caulked down, sun visors taped to roof , head light held open with angle iron…… Just keep working on it. Just had it out for a drive today October 15, 2024. About 1980 I had the local speed shop (Terras) rebuild the motor and heads using all GM parts from GM Racing division. A little better cam and a Holly 650 double pumper. I have all the paper work right back to the dealers order sheet. This is an all matching number car. 327/350hp, PS, AC. Posi track, 373 rear, (AM/FM radio) There is a lot more story over the last 48 years!
