The first Corvette I ever saw was a 1961-62 model, I was seven at the time. My family had some pictures taken at a studio and my parents left me in the car as they picked them up. While waiting, a brand new silver Vette pulled in the parking lot. It had the convertible top down and was driven by a young man with two beautiful women accompanying him. I had never seen such a wonderful looking car and fell in love, with the car of course since I was only seven. For years after that I looked closely at every Corvette I saw, in awe of the beautiful paint, interior, and 160 mph speedometer. As I got older my parents were pestered a lot to get me a Corvette when I was old enough. Finally I was 16 and had a down payment from selling my first car. My parents helped me purchase a 63' fastback with 4 speed trans for me and my brother to cruise around in. I loved that car but it had some brake problems that I couldn't get fixed which led to me totaling it. Soon after that I got a 63' convertible Vette. It was sold due to me getting married. A few years later, by chance, another Corvette came up for sale for a reasonable price. A yellow 1968 model 427 4 speed convertible/hardtop. It was sold to purchase a house. A couple of years ago I decided to get another Vette. So I sold a few of my exotic motorcycles and bought two C4 Vettes and an 82' Collectors Edition. I did a cosmetic restoration on the 82', including all new bushings, new brakes, new brake lines, new interior , paint, and new tires. Here are a few pictures.
